We try to make Furnace as inclusive and safe as possible, an approach we have taken with all the Garricon family including North Star, Revelation and Seven Hills.
We have a light framework to facilitate this. Everyone has to sign up to the conduct policy to register, we require the use of tags for scenario descriptions, and we promote the use of safety tools.
This is because we have had a small number of incidents over the last 17 years. Fundamentally, it's about respecting each other and being aware that people have different levels of tolerance.
1) Conduct Policy - this can be found here, you all signed up to it.

2) Tags - we expect all GMs to use tags and there are several mandatory ones. Details here.

3) Safety Tools - we promote the use of the X-card and provide them. Often, just having it there can make players more comfortable because they know they can call a pause. We've never seen someone using them disruptively, and we are always happy to support as con-organisers. If you don't want to use the X-Card, then consider other tools such as lines and veils which can be used at the start of the scenario to check where player's heads are at and set boundaries. Use of these tools protect GMs and players from unpleasant circumstances.
If you don't use the X-card, we expect that to be made clear in your tags as players may wish not to select your game.
Thank you for your support and care for others.
