And this evening, an EN World Digest of the Week notes:
I am lost for words. Nowhere — in my Kickstarter, my website, my Twitter account or anywhere — has witch-hunting ever been mentioned. Ever.

Given Egg turned it into a big deal, then I had to contact Russ directly to note the wholesale inaccuracies, I'm bemused by their tagline in this Newsletter.

I do not know what their problem is.

Though this looks bad at first, maybe a poll would help shed light on what the average D&D Player would think of the Dee Sanction RPG.

Would the average D&D Player consider it to be a witch hunting game rather than one about investigators?

I can't see how you'd get an informed opinion on this without properly reading the game. As it stands the information released on the game doesn't say it is, Paul explicitly says it isn't, so at this point I think anyone saying otherwise is acting in bad faith.
