Hey all.
I'm the manager of the Portsmouth Guild of Roleplayers, the largest RPG community in the city. We run several campaigns throughout the week at various venues around Southsea and Portsmouth and are always on the lookout for new players and GMs who want to join in and have some fun!
Our main event is every Sunday at The Deco on Elm Grove, starting from 12.30 in the afternoon. We also have a mid-week event on Wednesdays, which takes place at the Barley Mow from 6.00pm. Lastly we work in association with the Dice Cafe on Albert Road, a lovely and laid-back board game venue, to bring gaming to their Tuesday RPG evenings from 6pm. Yeah, we're pretty busy!
We run a very inclusive group with strong policies on creating a positive atmosphere for gamers of all ages and from all walks of life or within the LGBTQI+ spectrum, with a strong focus on ensuring that our games have a low bar of entry and creating a safe atmosphere.
If this sounds up your street, pop onto our group and say hello.

Hi Cybe

I think a friend of mine’s 14 year old is looking for a D&D game in Portsmouth. Do you have many gamers in that age range at your events?

In all honesty, not really - BUT however I do know that the Dice Cafe on Albert Road, just this week, had a game for younger players specifically set up. It was run by James, one of the guild's members, and was a big hit. I strongly believe in getting as many people who want to play empowered to do so, so I would definitely suggest your friend drop the Dice Cafe team a message to get a slot set in the next one!

Thanks - I know he tried to get to the Dice event but it was fully booked. I’ve seen they’ve got another one soon so hopefully he’ll have more luck then
