Demi-God
I wanted to let you all know that my Dad hs been diagnosed with caner and the prognosis isn't great. He has a tumour in his oesophagus which is inoperable, so they plan to give him a stent to help him swallow his food. Unfortunately, the cancer is stage 4 and has spread his liver and one of his lungs. It's also in some of his bones. They're going to give him palliative care, comprising of chemotherapy. The consultant told my sister he probably only has months left, but there's an outside chance he may live longer. However, that all depends on how well he responds to chemo. It's been a tough Christmas on us all, as we were told the news on the 23rd December.
