Calibre yes. I have tried the new forked version to no effect. Are you succeeding on a Linux machine?

Did you put the serial number of your Kindle into the plugin when you configured the DeDrm plugin? I kept forgetting I needed to do that with Ann's old Kindle and it took me a few days to remember
