Boardgames - What have you played recently?

4e D&D has been a bit stop-start recently for various reason so we have played a couple of games of Talisman recently. Amazingly, somebody had even practically won by the time we had to call it last time.

Over the past couple of weeks:

Oath again
Dune:Imperium: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/316554/dune-imperium (influence guilds, fight over Arrakis deck builder)
Inis: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/155821/inis (Irish mythology based exploration and infighting on a new island)
Clank: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/201808/clank-deck-building-adventure (dungeon exploration deck builder)

all 5 player

Recently I've picked up:

Furnace: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/318084/furnace (auction/engine building Russian game set in 19th C)
The Crew:Mission Deep Sea: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/324856/crew-mission-deep-sea (co-op trick taking game, follow up to Quest for Planet Nine)

so we may get to try one of those tonight.

Just got this (delivered fifteen minutes ago). Despite someone shredding the package to have a nosey it seems to be intact.

I suppose I'm a veteran of Blood Bowl (played since 1e, missed 2e out played 3e to death, the computer games likewise and 2016/2020 are on the shelves albeit sealed still) but fancied a change though this looks fiddly and crunchy. When my older me brain wants fast playing and fun, it grinds to a halt like I'm jogging through treacle when I have to learn something new.

Can anyone recommend the game? played it? Things to watch for, change, tweak? Or will it languish on the shelves and be cast into the maw of ebay in a few years time. Can't complain about the price - there's a seller on the 'bay of E knocking em out for £30 delivered which seems like a bargain. Well, if you actually play it, it seems like a bargain.... Otherwise it's gathering dust on the shelves.
