Amplifier recommendations

Demi-God
I've finally started digitising the vinyl collection and have reluctantly decided my Musical Fidelity B1 Integrated amp is on the way out:

*There's an obvious electronic hum from the speakers
*The knobs are - dodgy - I get things working right, when I turn on again, I need to reset everything
*I frequently get missing channels with the first power on
*I'm hearing a slight rumble in the track delimiter areas and run-outs

We do have a second amp - a Yamaha Natural Sound A320 - which was Paul's old one, but he reckoned the Musical Fidelity was better quality. It's the same vintage, but whether it's suffering old age as well, I don't know. We'll have to hook it up this week and try.

So, I'm looking for recommendations. The non-negotiable thing is phono inputs...I am digitising the vinyl, after all! Price: well, it's unlikely to be used much once the digitisation project is complete, so I'm looking at something fairly inexpensive (if new) or something better quality if reconditioned. I did like the warm sound of the MF B1, and given I have a lot of classical (including grand opera) and jazz, I'd be looking for something along those lines.

My advice is always to go to Richer Sounds and listen to the reasonably priced amps in their demo room.
