I mean I don't care, but it does show what happens when people are promoted into roles where they really need to pause, think, listen, and then act.

Digging a little deeper into that FAQ, it looks like the initial change will just be on D&D Beyond, and WotCs stated reason for the change is that it brings their representation of the ruleset in-line with customer practice on that site. Which is fine. It does, however, back them into a corner when, in some years time, they release another update of the 5e rules ... is that 5.6? 5.77 recurring? Or will it just be 6th Ed?

(And I am sooooooo relieved that I no longer have one iota of skin in this game!)
