Furnace Online Games

As of this morning, the one game limit has been lifted, and you can register, get automatically cleared to sign up to play.

I have to say that the Warhorn system seems fine to me once you are setup.

1: create an account, once forever.
2: join an event by following.
3: when games are opened, sign up.

Usually these steps are weeks or even months apart, it's just that @Newt and @dr_mitch have done this at speed so 1,2,3 seem very close!

I did 1: years ago.

Many organisers want/need/like to know who's coming before they do the final release, often to prvent people signing up weeks in advance and then forgetting all about it.

The Albacon system, which was coded for the event, I believe, follows the same pattern..

I agree, I have found Warhorn to be a great tool for organising even quick sign up events. Some of the controls can be a little opaque, which can catch you out until you become familiar, or re-familiar, with the way that it works. Combined with a Discord place for chat, we have some great free tools for collaborating and scheduling. Anyone can do it.

Latest news, we are nearly "sold out". One last place in my Sunday afternoon game and then we are full

Belated thanks to everyone who attended, and played or ran games for the event.

As a last-minute thing, it went amazingly well, well beyond my expectations.

On a personal level, I'd like to thank fellow GMs Jason Bratley, who ran half of the games with a great deal of joy and introduced me to how Foundry works (something I've been wanting to do for a while) and Paul Mitchener who despite having to pull his game due to illness on the day, was a great co-organiser and support in the run-up.
